Friendly and outgoing, originally from Santa Cruz CA, Michelle has been loving life in Lake Tahoe for the last 15 years. Enjoying her outdoor time with her family and friends both furry and human.
Having lived and worked all over Ca to Dallas, Pheonix, and now NV she has the experience and scope of knowledge to deliver. Michelle really listens to her clients on an individual basis to best meet their needs & tailor a look to their lifestyle.
A talented stylist and colorist, she has worked with some great creative teams including Aveda, American Crew Men, Kevin Murphy Australia, Deva Curl, Hot Heads, Matrix and more. Michelle loves to learn and grow with continued education. Certified in multiple specialties from keratin, texture, and color services to a variety of hair extensions.

Shelly has always had a passion and love for hair and the beauty industry. Growing up, she was endlessly playing “hair stylist” with her sisters and friends.
Shelly completed her cosmetology education at the Paul Mitchell School of Southern California and has been a licensed hairstylist for the last 20 years.
Continuing education has made Shelly an exceptional hair stylist, voted Best of Tahoe three times over. Shelly has mastered a wide range of hair coloring, cutting, up styling, and makeup techniques. Shelly knows that continual education keeps her at the forefront of the industry and having up-to-date knowledge of new products and advanced services highly benefits her clientele.
Above all, Shelly listens to her clients and their needs are her highest priority!
Alice Katovich– Stylist
I have been a hair stylist since 2005. My interest for doing hair peaked from my dabblings in art and creativity. What better way to make a career where you can be artistic! When I became licensed, I started apprenticing at two salons. One in Minden and one here in South Lake Tahoe. I did this for a few years before taking on my own clients. I learned a great deal from several amazing and talented stylists. I have taken several courses over these many years and have been educated by leaders in the industry such as Aveda, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Redken, Surface, Deva Curl, Davines and many others. Although I can and do almost anything hair related; I am more interested in working with hairs natural texture and more what it wants to do. I don’t believe in fighting or forcing the hair. I lean more towards a bohemian natural look. Easy and lived in hair. I do more curly work these days leaving the hair in its natural form. I also love to do effortless sun kissed looks with free handed painting techniques. If this is your look and style, I am the girl for you!
The hair industry is an ever changing career with a continuing learning path that always keeps it fun and interesting. I love what I do and the most I get from this is making who ever is in my chair happy. Even as something as simple as leaving with a better understanding about their hair (help with styling, natural curl texture, scalp care, finding the right products that work, color consults, etc.) If you leave my chair happy and feeling good about yourself, I’m happy too and that’s what it’s all about.
